Things that are funny, yet not so funny:

little tidbits about life, that are somewhat funny, yet remarkably not.

92. how you look at a picture of someone in your past, someone you used to know, (or may have been very close with), and you wonder to yourself, is that really what they looked like? and you just keep staring at it, because your trying to place their face in real life with that in the picture, and you just cant.

87. the ever-so-perfectly spilled ashtray on the carpet floor.

88. the way people eat french fries with forks.

89. brusing a rib by coughing to hard after a gravity bong hit.

90. the way one makes the decision to cut their own hair without any hesitation, and then wondering afterwards what ever possessed you to do it in the first place.

91. the human condition, lonely-itis: were so quick to forget who we are.

86. when john mayor comes on led zepplin pandora radio.

84. being sorry for everything, yet nothing at the same time.

85. how our brain can have a million different thoughts at once, all cohesive, yet when we try to get it out, we struggle with every line.

83. How rumors start; from truth? from fabrications? from overhearing or over seeing? or does it all just boil down to the horrible people that have nothing better to do with their time.

82. never read too much into a magical night. because it is just that, a (one) magical night, and you might as well chalk it up to that, because magic rarely happens.

80. the way we let people into that tiny place behind our hearts only to realize they had no place there.

on first loves:

81. the way we look back at our lives is all quite similar. we remember them as photographs, feelings we can never get back. because that was then, and this is now. it takes a lot of work, to give up the one you love, to actually let go. its a self journey, one that takes you through very many highs and lows, but what we are supposed to take from all of it, is that its okay to be alone. it is more important to be okay with who we are than be okay with who were with. so we exhale, because in the end, the only thing that should be important, is that youre happy with your life, and what youve done.

78. how people talk— or say things— because the truth is, they most likely dont mean what they say. they dont miss you, they only loved you a fraction of the time they said they did, and everything you heard that you thought was good, was just everything you wanted to hear. people say things— and things is all they’ll ever be.
